Sunday Blessings
Good Sunday Morning Ladies!!!
Some of you in the comments and e-mails have asked for the recipe that uses marshmellow creme. This is the original Fantasy Fudge Recipe
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 7ozjar Kraft Marshmellow creme
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in a heavy 2-1/2 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate till melted. Add marshmellow creme, nuts and vanilla beat till blended. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch pan. Let cool and cut into 1-inch squares.
Microwave method:
Microwave margarine in 4 quart microwave safe bowl on High (100%) 1 minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well. Microwave on high 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil, stirring after 3 minutes. Stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Cool at room temperature; cut into 1-inch squares. Makes 3 lbs.
Now if you make this remember me!!!!! I want fudge! LOL

Oh yeah! I will try that out...... I am a brownie person but I think that there might be some "fudge" people in my family here and my blog family out there!
Blessings to you this Sunday !
I've made this recipe for years during Christmas time and it doesn't last long! :)

Hi Mary,
My boys absolutely LOVE fudge and if I made it everyday it wouldn't be enough.hehehe.
Thanks for sharing that recipe ~ I'm gonna make it for them today for an after school treat.
Have a wonderfully blessed day.

Mary, I'm not sure if this was my Auntie's recipe or not(surely not the microwave version as it was eons ago, LOL). Thanks for posting it tho and I will be trying it out.

Thank you for your prayers for Sandy.. I spoke with Sandy and I told her that there are many beautiful ladies praying for her.. She is in good spirits, her husband is not doing as well as she is.. I spoke with him and he has to take the baby home today..... New Father with new baby and wife facing open heart surgery is a tough pill to swallow........ Remember David when you pray.....
Hi Mary,
The fudge recipe sounds great and I'll have to make some soon.
How was your weekend? Worked on my cards:), went to a couple of sales. Take care.
Warmly,
Deb

Thank you Mary, this sounds like something my girls would love. karen
I make this every Christmas...usually a bit before all the family arrives because otherwise Mac would eat the entire batch long before they got to share in it!~

This sounds delicious. I'm going to give it a try. I love fudge and am going to replace the sugar with splenda and see how it turns out. Thanks for sharing.
Hope all is well with you.

Mary, I hope your headache goes away. I am praying that the Lord remove your headache as I write this. I think that we are all walking around lately in a daze...the best thing to avoid CNN and to stay in the Word. Blessings, Karen
