Last Saturday Morning I went to our local Produce Stand. I was looking at a box of pears when what to my wandering eyes should appear but an inch worm!
I stood for several minutes mesmerized by this amazing little creature.
The young son of the owner came over and I showed it to him. We stood there watching it move up the edge of the box measuring as it went. We were in silence as it made it 's way around. I turned and a small group had gathered around us watching!!
There stood old and young alike captivate by this tiny little insect.
Then it became so clear. God made no insufficient creations. Each one is just as important as the other. On this Saturday Morning God taught me an important lesson using an inchworm!!! All life has tremendous importance!!!!!

Ah, this is a nice thought, Mary. Even with my anger at the hundreds of ants that have been parading into my kitchen, I realize that even their role in creation is one of balance.
Good stuff!

This is neat. I just came from a friend's blog- In My Neck of the Woods, and she showed a pretty little bug. lol
Thank you for sharing an important point. I am always fascinated with all the details of God's creation~so endless.
Well I still say I wish God hadn't created spiders because I'm terrified of them!!! lol But an inch worm, I don't mind! hehe xoxo
I remember I used to see a lot of inch worms when I was growing up on my Grandmother's farm. I haven't seen one in quite some time now.
Sometimes Mary, we just need a little reminder. Thank you.
God bless.

Ok........ I love the little inch worm........ but tell me about ticks and mosquitoes! I love all the creatures but I am just struggling to figure those out! Oh and what about roaches! hahahah but I loved your story and I could just see you standing there watching that little worm!!
nice reminder that God has created ALL creatures...and each has it's own purpose....
They are fascinating little things, aren't they? I haven't seen one in a long time, but I felt as if I was right there watching along with you.
When my son was little and playing t-ball almost the same thing happened when he saw an ant out on second base, he had all the kids from both teams at the base with him....too cute. I am giving you an award, please stop by my blog for all the details.
God's symbols are all around us, teaching us lessons. How blessed you are to have eyes to see His presence even in the little inch worm. Stop by and read your thank you for my lovely package. Have a lovely day. Karen

Aren't they the coolest things! I've only ever seen one in my entire life...luckily I had my three kids with me at the time and we watched that little critter for the longest time. They are just so amazing. Thanks for bringing back a very happy memory!
Ohhhh
I think inch worms are SOOO cute and it's cool how God can use anything to teach!!
Warmly, Deb
Love this story. My kids took my camera to shoot pictures of a catapillar creeping along the endge of the splash pool. They loved watching it and being fascinated at it's talent!!
You find magic everywhere if you look!
Thanks for stopping by at my blog!!

The inch worm is a facinating little character to watch as he seems to take the time to smell the roses which is a lesson for me to learn. I sometimes hurry on my way and miss out on so many of life's pleasures. Thanks for the reminder of God in His wisdom who has given us all creatures and insects and their significant role in the creation. Ants are so industrious and are so fun to watch with their work habits even if they are parading in ones kitchen!;)
Yours in one of my new favorite blogs and I enjoyed reading your through it as it is a uplifting and cheerful place to visit. I'll be back often!

Awesome, awesome post!! The world could learn a lot from a little inch worm. :)
It has been a long time since I've seen an inch work "inching" along but I think they are darned cute. Cute as a bug can be that is.
