Inch Worm

Last Saturday Morning I went to our local Produce Stand. I was looking at a box of pears when what to my wandering eyes should appear but an inch worm!
I stood for several minutes mesmerized by this amazing little creature.

The young son of the owner came over and I showed it to him. We stood there watching it move up the edge of the box measuring as it went. We were in silence as it made it 's way around. I turned and a small group had gathered around us watching!!

There stood old and young alike captivate by this tiny little insect.

Then it became so clear. God made no insufficient creations. Each one is just as important as the other. On this Saturday Morning God taught me an important lesson using an inchworm!!! All life has tremendous importance!!!!!

Ah, this is a nice thought, Mary. Even with my anger at the hundreds of ants that have been parading into my kitchen, I realize that even their role in creation is one of balance.

Good stuff!

I remember I used to see a lot of inch worms when I was growing up on my Grandmother's farm. I haven't seen one in quite some time now.

When my son was little and playing t-ball almost the same thing happened when he saw an ant out on second base, he had all the kids from both teams at the base with him....too cute. I am giving you an award, please stop by my blog for all the details.

The inch worm is a facinating little character to watch as he seems to take the time to smell the roses which is a lesson for me to learn. I sometimes hurry on my way and miss out on so many of life's pleasures. Thanks for the reminder of God in His wisdom who has given us all creatures and insects and their significant role in the creation. Ants are so industrious and are so fun to watch with their work habits even if they are parading in ones kitchen!;)
Yours in one of my new favorite blogs and I enjoyed reading your through it as it is a uplifting and cheerful place to visit. I'll be back often!
