Smiles

Have you ever thought about all the things you can accomplish just by simply smiling. A smile can turn someones whole day around and maybe even their attiude. I have been at low points in my life and I would run into a friend and their smile was the first thing that I saw.It warmed my heart and gave me hope. I always try to smile at everyone I come into contact with. Can you image looking down at a child with a big old frown on your face. I once had a teacher who told me it takes less mucles to smile than to frown. So why not smile?? When i recieved the you make me smile award it made me SMILE!!!!! Thank you so much!!! now I would like to pass this award on to three special ladies that make me smile . The first two have beem with me since I began my blog a fem months ago and have made me smile alot. The last one I only just found and her blog is wonderful also. My husband I always make a "challenge" when we are out walking....we try to see how many people we can make eye contact with and smile at.....it really is contagious!

What a wonderful post! It is so easy
to do and can really make someone's day! Yesterday, one of the greeters at church asked me if I always smile so brightly. I answered that I did not always do so but now, I have found that if *I* smile at others, it lifts my spirits as well!

Thank you for visiting me. Now I have found your blog and can visit regularly!

It is lovely here!

Hugs,
Sue

That is so sweet and so true. Sometimes we just need gentle reminders. Thank you for that.

Awww! A smile is the nicest thing! Here in Chicago I do this all the time and it's so funny that people are sorta weirded out:) In the south it's so different!

BTW... thanks for visiting!

Thanks for the reminder to smile! It is really uplifting! And I confess I don't do it enough... I get so carried away with all my responsibilities. I'd probably feel and look less stressed if I remembered to smile once in a while! =)

They say that laughing makes you live longer...my DH makes me laugh every single day...even when we are mad at each other...and how about a "thank-you" or "you're welcome" when someone holds the door open or when you do something nice for someone. That goes a long way too!!!!

What a darling, darling picture! And you're right about smiles. Sometimes even a "text smile" is enough. =) Blessings... Polly

What a great post! Thank you so much for visiting me and leaving such sweet comments. I love meeting new people.

I have to say, I smile at everyone when I'm out. Not too often do you get a smile back. Sometimes I do but other times people look at me like I'm an alien. Sad!

Come back again!

Love,
Julie
