EXCITMENT

"Ma, Ma look at all the decorations we found for the house." Oh my goodness, you all have found such a bounty of beauty. We will store it in the barn until we are ready to fashion it into our decorations.

"Children we need to work on the gifts we are making for CHRISTmas. They need to be finished in the next few evenings as we need to began our CHRISTmas baking."

Tomorrow we will make the trip into town for the supplies and food we need. "Pa will you get the wagon and team ready for our trip. Children you will need to fetch extra water as we will all be taking baths tonight before we go to town tomorrow. The town needs to be taken down Pa. I need to check my list as it is to far to go and not get everything we need.

"Children here is a penny for each of you to buy candy with. Also I have a dime for each of you to buy presents for each other. I am going to count the hen and egg money we have been saving all year. I think we have more than enough for what we need. I sure hope they have some red apples and oranges.

Don't dawdle get busy we have lots to do!!!
