Today!

It is cold here in Kentucky today my friends. There is a cold front moving in and it is giving me the nesting syndrome. I want to stay in wrapped in my cozy throw curled up in a corner reading a book or watching a favorite movie. Maybe looking at cook books or goggling recipes to cook up something yummy.

Today I am Thankful for the roof over my head. To be in out of the cold and rain that is on it's way. To have a freezer with food in it to eat. To have someone I love to share it with. To have the opportunity to be a blessing to someone else. I will write about this in another post. My life has been touched by the needs of those around me and the amazing ways they are dealing with it.

They are showing me Faith beyond measure. I love their attitude in a time of real hardship. They are showing awesome strength and love that fills you up.

Off to that corner to read!!!!

It's been a cold, wet and dreary day here today and all I wanted to do was cuddle up near the fireplace and dream of Christmas! lol Whatever you ended up doing, I hope you had a lovely day. xoxo

It's fun to see you writing your stories again and this one is shaping up to be a great one for the holidays...a real Laura Ingalls Wilder tone to it, too.

Yes, we are seeing those who are coping with very tough financial times. May we all see ourselves as survivors before this is through.
