We are having some very serious rains in our area. It has rained 6 to 8 inches since the early hours of the morning. They are calling for around 36 more hours of this.
I live in a low area and my back yard is completely covered. It looks like a lake. It is up to the foundation in the front . There is water in our bedroom and our garage.
We have a special dinner planned at our church tomorrow. Our ladies have put in so many hours making it beautiful. I do so hope we are able to have it and the people are able to come. Everyone has worked so hard!!
Also our county high school had their prom tonight. Please pray for the safety of our children.
Please pray for all those in these areas that are being hit so hard by the rains and storms.

Oh my gosh! You are getting nailed with rain! I think south of us here in OH has gotten more then we have. I hope tomorrow goes well for you and your church!
wow.. so much rain! I said a quick prayer and I hope you dry out soon and that the flooding doesnt destroy any of your property!

Mary, It sounds like you are really getting hit. We had storms yesterday but nothing like that. I hope it abates soon so you won't have property damage.
