Sunday Blessings to everyone. In our house there is much praise going up to God today for the safety of our Daughter and Grandchildren. Those of you who follow me on face book know her house burned last night. They all made it out. GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

They came out in pjs. no socks, shoes or coats. They have lost everything. The oldest child wears glasses and they were lost. Our daughter also wears glasses and I do not know if hers were lost.

The ARC put them in a hotel for 3 days. After that I do not know. We have been up all night and have not sorted out things yet. I have not been able to go as I am recovering from pneumonia and my husband leg issues have him in a boot and on crutches and he can barely walk.

There is a Salvation Army and Goodwill in the city where she lives. I am sure the owners of the house will contact these for her by tomorrow. The children return to school on Tuesday. This will give her sometime to sort things through. We are in constant contact on the phone and I am advising and helping her all I can.

My friends what we need most is your prayers. Please join us in thanking God they are all safe. Please pray for guidance for our daughter as she makes decisions in the next few days.

EDIT I am editing this post as many of you have asked what is needed. EVERYTHING as everything was lost. The childrens sizes are Boys size 8 pants shirts 10-12 and girls size 7-8 pants and 10-12 shirts and little boys size 6. my daughter wears large pants and xlarge shirts. There was insurance for the owners but no renters insurance for our Daughter. Thanks so much.

Oh Mary, I will pray for your daughter and her family. Thank the Lord that they all got out.

Is there any place we can send things for them?

God bless.

Losing one's home and all the contents is devastating but as you say, thank God that they all came out safe!! Material things can be replaced but not lives. God was looking over them for sure. The Salvation Army and Goodwill are known to help families in need after a house fire so hopefully it's the same over there. I will get a box together with some items to help them out a bit...do we mail it to you?? My prayers continue for them. xoxo

Oh Mary.... I am so sorry... I'm just glad that everyone made it out without injury. Clothes and possessions can be replaced --but lives cannot.

I will pray for them. I know that they will be taken care of since there are so many wonderful people in the world and community. I hope they were involved with a church because that will help also.

Love and Prayers,
Betsy

Do they know how the fire started? It seems a lot of fires around this time start with Christmas lights. My heart goes out to this family. Can you tell us also, what some of the grocery stores are around where your daughter is? (I heard about this from Mary at Mary's Writing Nook.)

Hello Dear Mary. I read about you on My Vintage Studio and had to come by. I'm so very sorry to hear of your daughter and her family losing their home. You are right God is Great and God is good. I thank him that everyone was alright.

I will be praying for them and that the Lord guides and comforts her. I'll be praying for you and your husband as well. I hope you take care of yourself. I know how bad pneumonia can be and I hope your husband continues to heal. All things are good in his name.

With love, Tracy :)

So sorry to hear this news about your daughter. Is she far from you all? Possibly there are some churches that may help her as well.......
It's so COLD right now. I pray that they will be alright and I know that the Father is watching over them...obviously since they were not injured and such.
A good friend of ours lost her home in a fire some years ago and though it was tragic.......the LORD restored to her everything she had lost.
Hang in there.....and BE BLESSED,
Joyce

I am so sorry to hear about the fire, but rejoicing that they are safe. I can't even imagine what this must be like for them to lose everything. I will be praying for all of them.

Hi Mary,
I spoke with my mother and she is praying too. She and I are going to mail you a few more things. Prayer is wonderful, but God gave us hands to help. That is what my mom taught me. As soon as I told her about it, she said well maybe we can find Jesus prices and get them some things. Mary, we are all part of the body of Christ. We are praying for a miracle for God to find a place for Amanda and the children.
Expect a miracle.
Karen

Mary,

So glad you are under your electric throws and keeping nice and warm. It's been frigid here and now we are getting snow. About an inch has accululated in the half hour since it started. Before that we didn't have much.

Praying for you and your family.
Blessings,

Mary, this is the first time I have been to your blog. I have heard through the grapevine that your daughter's home burned. Praise the Lord they are all safe. Could you please email me the address where I can send a gift card?
saf47@yahoo.com I think a gift card is the best all the way around because she could get some necessities that will fit and are needed.
I am also praying for your health and for your hubby too. Goodness, when it rains it pours but the Lord is faithful to bless you ALL abundantly through this trial.
