One Wish

If I had but one wish this CHRISTmas was a question I was asked.

Of course I would want world peace, homeless and hungry to end, a cure for cancer and other diseases, for all people to be free and happy.

As I thought about this, of course I thought of things money could buy. A fine house, car, clothes and wishes beyond measure.

Then I realized that my wish had been granted in the form of many Blessings.

First the Blessing of my husband and being able to spend time with him. Next my children and Grandchildren all the pleasures they bring.

Yes my wish is the gift of happiness. To receive and to give it!!

You see happiness is not a gift to keep but one to share. As I told you in my last post I am playing secret Santa this year. I had a small gift delivered to someone today and was so Blessed. They do not know where it came from, but called to tell me about it. They were so happy with this simple, small gesture of love. The joy this brought to me was far more, than the value of the gift. To be able to make someone Happy is such a Blessing.

My wish is to be able to spread as much happiness this CHRISTmas and into the new year.

Oh Mary, what fun it is to play Secret Santa. I've done this in the past and it IS indeed a blessing to the giver.

Each year I send out letters from Santa. My boys, though they are getting into the teen years, still love receiving them and now I have 2 great-nephews and my friends granddaughter to send to.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Mary

Hi Mary,
You are always blessing people. Your blog looks amazing by the way!!! Mary, I will have my mom agree with me in prayer about your eyesight. Our greatest weapon against the enemy is Praise.

Thank you Jesus for Mary's perfect vision, thank you that this blessed woman has your favor. We thank you in Jesus' name.
Amen
