Happy Fourth of July!!!
We want to wish you a very Happy Fourth of July. We will be cooking on the grill. Of course there will be another watermelon!! LOL.
As I think upon the meaning of this day. I am so proud to say so many generations of my family have served in the armed forces to help keep our country Free.
I want to stop and offer a prayer today for all those in harms way to insure we continue to live in the land of the free. As we all know freedom is not free. I also have the families of these men and women in my thoughts and prayers today.
I hope each of you have an extra special day doing many fun things will family, friends and love ones.
If you see a member of the armed forces today please thank them for their service to our great country.

Happy 4th to you, Mary! I hope you have a wonderful day. I loved the picture of you and Kiley eating watermelon--always fun, especially if you have a seed spitting contest ;-)
Hugs,
Lallee

I hope your day was wonderful Mary! We went to the parade and had family over to grill. Low key but a beautiful day:>)
What a wonderful reminder!
Hope you had a lovely 4th!!
My parents always bought a watermelon for the Fourth; it was a tradition. Unfortunately, my brother and I never acquired a taste for it!
