Baking

Thursday is my granddaughter's"s Mother"s birthday we are baking her a cake. This is always so much fun to bake with my grand. We have a blast.

We have just been hanging out watching T.V. and playing board games.

We are getting ready for VBS. This is my third year as director. It is a lot of hard work but the rewards are so awesome. I love to see all the little ones and see their happy smiles. They all want me to see what they have made. I love every second of it.

Went to Walmart today and they were putting out school supplies. Where is the summer going. I will turn around twice and it will be Christmas.

Oh! please don't mention Christmas yet!!! This year is going far too quickly.

Sounds like you and your granddaughter are having a great time. I know she loves visiting you!

I was just telling my Hubby that...we have only been out of school 3 weeks and the retailers have them going back already! I wish they'd let us all relax and enjoy the summer before we have to think about school again.

Hugs,
Robin

I bet those VBS kids adore you! I hate that they try to rush the seasons at the stores~

I'm looking forward to the day when Noodlebug is old enough to go to VBS. I always enjoyed it as a child.

I know exactly what you mean, there never seems to be enough summer and then once school starts again, well Christmas sneaks up on a person so very quickly.

God bless.

Hello Dear Mary,

You are so right, summer is simply just not long enough! But I must admit I am looking forward to Christmas too!:o) Oh goodness, is it really time for Vacation Bible School already!:o) It seems like just yesterday you were sharing with us all the beautiful times you and the children were having at VBS. I know the kids are all ready to go and I know you are looking forward to it just as much.:o) Enjoy VBS and all those sweet children.

Dear Mary, I know you are having great fun with your Granddaughter. VBS is always wonderful and I know you are a very good director. My sister did the same thing a couple of weeks ago at her church and she is still talking about it and what a good group of kids they had this year. Hope yours is a great one. Have a happy day dear Mary. connie

I taught Kindergarten and we had a
wonderful time learning about the Australian outback and that Jesus Loves us...
to bad that the TRUE meaning of Christmas doesn't begin this early in the year...
