I am Still Here

Hi Ladies,

I have been down in my back. That is why I have not been around as much lately. Hope everyone is getting some sunshine and are able to be outside enjoying it. My husband has been working in our yard and putting out some hanging baskets. We are trying to put up things that will attract the birds and butterflies. I love getting up at day brake and watching the sun come up and the birds coming to our feeders for breakfast.

The cake was a big hit at the meeting. It is sort of like a pudding. Would be so good hot out of the oven with vanilla ice cream.

This weekend we will be making homemade ice cream. My husband's favorite is banana.

Have a wonderful day!!!!

Poor girl, that back problem is awful! I'm glad you're feeling some better, though! Hey, is that a pudding cake you're talking about? I love my Grandmother's recipe for that!!!

Sorry that your back has been feeling poorly...I understand. I have a whacky back, too. If you make that cake, Mary, judge accordingly. It really was a very thick batter and probably needed some taming one way or the other and do add extra flavoring.

I've missed you, Mary... Sorry to hear about your back problems. Hope you are better!!!!

Save me some home-made ice cream... I like banana also---but anything will do.

Have a great and wonderful evening.
Hugs,
Betsy

I just asked hubby about your back! He said you were "some better"...I'm glad to hear it.

I've been thinking about how I never make homemade ice cream...you need to teach me.

I am so sorry about your back. I live with a bad back, so I want to weep when I hear of someone else with one. I hope you have improved and can be up and around. Your yard sounds like it is going to be lovely. (sounds like you have a nice, nice husband, too) Glad he is helping out with your pretties while you are down with the back.

Hi Mary:
I want to visit and eat some home made ice cream. We use to make it when I was little and use peaches off the tree in the backyard.
The cake sounds super tasty!!!

I hope you back is feeling better!!!

Hi Mary,
Sorry to hear that you are having back problems :(

Banana ice cream sounds very YUMMY... I also love to see the birds and butterflies come over to the flowers. I'm hoping for humming birds to come to my hanging fushia plant.

You take care!
Warmly,
Deb :)

I'm sorry to hear about your back..I know how that can be.....I DO hope you take it easy and don't do too much.

Banana ice cream sounds wonderful..if you throw choc. chips in it then it would probably taste like Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey!
Have a great weekend!
