Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day to me is a day filled with love and happy fun things.

Happiness was a phone call from my Granddaughter this afternoon saying that the Valentine Mailbox we worked 3 hours on last weekend was judged the second best in her class. You could hear the happiness in her voice and the excitement. She said Granny I won second place and received some Chocolate!!!

Love was taking a box of candy and a homemade Valentine to my 78 year old Mother and seeing the tears in her eyes. She was happy to be remembered.

Fun will be making a special dinner tomorrow night with my sweetheart of the last 35 years!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!

My husband is cleaning at the church tonight and I'm home with a sick boy. Yet, it was so romantic that he called a minute ago and said, "I'm gonna take the garbage out and head home... I'm stopping at McDonalds on the way. Do you want something?" Nope, no roses and no candy... THIS is my dream guy!!

I hope your homemade dinner with your love was the reminder of a life fulfilling ;) Valentine Blessings... Polly

Happy Belated Valentine's Day to you also, Mary. You are so fortunate to have your mother still with you. My Mama died in 1991--and I still miss her.

Hope your weekend was wonderful.
