Mondays chatter

I hope everyone had the best Mothers Day ever!!! I was so blessed with getting to spend time with my family.

On Saturday we went to my sister's house for a cookout in honor of our Mother and her 78th birthday (which was today). We had so much fun visiting. Our children, Grandchildren and her Great grandchildren were running about laughing and playing. It all made my heart sing with happiness and joy.

Yesterday we began our day in church and all of the Mothers in the service received a little book. The title of it is .....The loving Heart......By Roy Lessin.
On one page it says....
God created a Woman's heart to be a unique and caring reflection of His heart. Through her touch, her tears, and her tenderness we have a deeper insight into the compassion of God.

What an awesome responsibility we have as Women and Mothers. These are beautiful words to help us with our task.

Wishing all of you a week filled with beautiful things.......

My husband is so crazy about that book we got he has read it more than I have! He just loves Mother's Day.
Mine got to her old nursing home room yesterday and she was at ease and happy which means SO much. This a.m. her fav little nurse will bathe her and be sweet. I can't wait for them to see each other!

Aren't cookouts just about the most Summery sweet things ever invented?!! Even if you had hotdogs and burgers, just being outdoors with family and friends is such a blessings!! Blessings... Polly

Mary,

I'm so glad that you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mom is 80 years old and we had a great time as well. She spent the afternoon with us on Saturday because she was seeing my brother on Sunday. It was hubby's birthday so we had cake and BBQd hamburgs.

Thank you for your comment on my post about the problems with the schools here. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Brandon is often the object of bullying because he is on the autism spectrum and Jordan because he is so small.

Take care and thank you for praying about the situation.

Blessings,
Mary
