A Blessed Sunday Morning to everyone!!!!
I want to share with you my husband is improving. It seems he hurted his ankle also. It is swollen and is blak. The place on the side of his leg where he was injured is now very black and is the size of a small dinner plate. The doctor had told us it would get bigger as there is bleeding inside. It is very sore. He had alot of trouble trying to use his crutches, and finds it much easier to navigate using canes. It is hard to keep a good man down they say and IT IS TRUE!!! He finds his way around even though I know he is in alot of pain. He begins threapy on Tuesday Morning.
We want to thank you so much for your prayers!!! I know God has his angels watching over us. HE IS SO GOOD!!!!
I want to share a quick and easy recipe with you. It is something I think our sweet Emily and Victoria would approve of. LOL!!!!
Open face Roast Beef Sandwiches
1lb. pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
Make a rue using flour and oil. Cook until lightly brown add water to make a gravy. I season with salt, garlic power and 3tablespoons Dale's Steak seasoning.
until hot and just beginning to come to a boil. Then add the slices of roast beef and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
When servering this I have already prepared a pot of homemade mashed potatoes. I serve it over homemade sourdough bread,or white store bought bread. We like coleslaw with it.
Today in honor of President's Day we will probally have Cherry CheeseCake for dessert.
Have a great Sunday!!!!
