Potluck

I am off to the potluck over at Vallen Queen's. i thought i would take a little sweet bread. hope you will all enjoy it. Lemon Bread 2/3 cup butter 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 3 cups flour 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 teaspoons salt 1 cup pecan pieces 4 tablespoons lemon juice 2/3 sugar Combine all ingredients except juice and sugar. Blend well Put into 2 greasd 9x5 x3 'loaf pans. Bake at 350. for 50 to 60 minutes. While breads are still warm, combine lemon juice and sugar. pour over bread. I heading out the door with the butter, now do not eat everything before I get there. Make sure you save me some of that sweet tea.

This sounds like a yummy lemon bread my mom used to make-it had the best tart glaze on the top! It's so nice of you to share, and make sure you get seconds on that tea!
