It's My Birthday

Have you heard the song It's My Birthday and I Cry If I Want Too!!! I like the song and the artist but no crying here no that day. The Lord in his great mercies has seen fit to let me life everyone of these years and I am very thankful for them . Each new day of life brings new beginnings and new channelages and new way to Prasie My Lord. I had a dear freiend once tell me never lie about you age because those are years the Lord has given you and you should never ever be ashamed of them. So here goes on Saturday I will Be 54 years young. My children tease me about getting old. I tease back and tell them to think about it , the older I get the older they get. That gives them something to ponder about. On Saturday I will first thank my lLORD for the gift of another year of life and then most importantly I will thank him for my salvaltion!!! For his unconditionial love and the gift of forgiveness for my many shortcomings. Then I will thank him for my sweet family and all my children {4] and Grandchildren[8] and my soulmate of 33years and the best friend one could have my dear' husband Mike. Then I will give God thanks for each of you and all my friends and my church family.!!! God has given me so much and blessed me in so many ways . He is my constant strength and loves me more than I will ever deserve. His Graces are endless and his mercies are forever. No there will be no crying for growing a year older only Praise and Thanksgiving.

I'm still 53 so that means you are OLDER, hehehe.

Actually, my daughter turns thirty in December and I've been teasing her about it.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! That is so sweet to look at your birthday that way. Every year is a new blessing but I didn't like the idea of getting older either. I won't fight it any longer. Thanks!

I love this post....do you know why..haha....on Friday the 12th I will be 54,,,,and you are right....I never lie about my age...seems so silly to me....it is indeed God who numbers our days and life sure is short....and btw do not worry about spelling typos....life again is too short...think this may be first time at your blog.
