A beautiful day!!!!

Today is one of the brightiest, most beautiful of days. It is still too warm for fall. In the upper 90,s here in Kentucky. It is such a day in which one is so thankful to be alive. I look around at all of the beauty that our Lord has created and marvel at the awesomeness of it all. the sky is different hues of blues with big pillowly clouds floating about. The grass is still green . God is taking his paint brush to the leaves and fall flowerswhich are beginning to turn orange, red and golden colors. Iwent to the local produce stand. oh may what an array of colors.!! Orange and white pumpkins Tall golden cornstalks stand rgal waiting to welcome Fall. Crisp apples in yellows, greens and reds make your want to taste teir sweetness.Mums of evey color under the sun. Oh my God is so GOOD!!!!

What a lovely post... To take in all the beauty that surrounds us is absolutely amazing! I think that is one of the reasons for my being so captivated with flowers. The loveliness of a single flower can be simply beyond words... All these things is one of God's ways of saying I love you so much.

I was just thinking the same thing Mary Isabella! My husband, grandson and I went on a little trip away for the weekend to the mountains. The weekend was just beautiful. Beautiful blue skies with marshmellow clouds. It is still very warm here in the south so I think that it has delayed God's paintbrush a bit in painting our trees with those beautiful golden autumn colors. But a few of the trees were tipped in those glorius hues. And I know that full blown color is just around the corner! And I can't wait to relish in their beauty and feel that little cool nip in the air that just feels so fresh and clean.
