New Books

A friend gave our Granddaughter two new books yesterday. One of them was The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. This is one of my favorite books. Can you tell I am longing for a change in the weather? What fun it is to bundle up and go outside and play in the snow. This little boy in the book had such afun day. he made footprints in the snow and a snowman and snow angels. Then to go inside and take awarm bath. Maybe he had some warm soup for dinner. My friends winter is just around the conner then will we wishing for spring?

Oh girl what are you talking about...bring on the snow!!! I'm waiting for that first sniff of fall in the form of a tobacco barn!

Thank you for leaving me a comment!

It doesn't snow where I live, and we haven't had very warm weather this summer, but it IS nice to have changes in the weather. If it was the same all the time, that wouldn't be as enjoyable. :-)

Blessings,
