Cooler Weather

SNOW, HOT CHOCOLATE, MULLED APPLE CIDER, CHILI. Yes I am thinking about ALL thing winter. Yesterday my husband took me to my favorite dollar tree store. I found these evergreen wreaths in various sizes. OOOOOOH was I happy. A few years ago I came upon a craft in a magazine using these little wreaths. You need a 18 inch one,a 12 in. one and a 9 in. one. You start with the largest one and wire them together. This gives you a snowman form . You can emblish it any way you want to. I will put a stocking hat on mine, then a scarf around the neck. Then I will use sticks for the arms. There will be other little things I have around the house,Little bells, ribbions, pinecones extc. Then I will put her on my door to greet my company all winter long. Now to the foods of winter. Ifind nothing more comforting on a cold winter's night than a cup of hot chocolate or hot tea with my husband. His favorite winter time food is chicken and dummplings I will share how to make this in a later post. Have fun thinking about all things winter.
