Hello!!!!

Hello Everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know we are fine!!
Thank-you my friend Phyllis for the BEAUTIFUL new header and update for everyone.
We are still dealing with a lot of health issues here but are taking it one day at the time. We are enjoying each new day and thanking the Lord for our many Blessings!!
Here in Kentucky we have been engulfed in one storm after the other. We have been drenched in water. It got into our garage and bedroom. Our yard looked like a lake for days upon days. We went without Sunshine for days. It promises to be a nice week-end. We could use some porch setting-tea sipping weather.
As for my porch I have two trees one is 16 years old ( a gift from friends when my Dad died) & the other one is 12 years old ( a gift when my brother died). They are so tall now they are bending at the top. Then I have an old iron kettle with red and white inpatients in it. Then I have an antique nail keg with sweet potato vines in it. Then two big Boston ferns, and other hanging baskets, plus a big pot of collius.
You can set there on a hot Summer evening and forget all you cares.
I wish all of you a awesome week-end!!!!

Oh I'm just finding this...

And I'm so sorry about the flooding. It's no fun at all. I hope that there wasn't too much damage.

Hope that you're all feeling better, too. Another mention of sweet potato vine...someone mentioned that I should try them in a basket I have. Now I'm really going to have to look for some.

Don't you worry about keeping up visiting, Mary. Just post here once in a while so we can keep tabs on you! I know what a challenge it is to get to all those doc's appointments. The hazards of growing older, I'm afraid. Take it easy now, enjoy the porch and your hubby and all the family and grands. That's what makes life sweet.

Hi Mary,
I am sorry about the flooding. The weather sure has been difficult lately. When I listen to the weather, I hear one disaster after another. Last week we had Tornados here in Massachusetts. Three towns had major damage.

I hope that you didn't have too much damage from the flooding. I will keep you and your family in my prayers for you to have your health restored.
