Just returned from a yummy soup and sandwich, dessert supper at church. Oh was it ever good!!
So many delicious sandwiches. Ham, homemade chicken salad, cream cheese and olive, sub sandwiches.
An array of soups to warm you up. Two kinds of potato, taco, veg, chili, white chicken chili.
The desserts were so mouth watering. Too many to choose from you just wanted to taste them all. We dined on chocolate cake, pecan pies, almond butter cookies, sugar cookies, pound cake with homemade Caramel icing, and many more.
Now My problem is I am home dreaming of the next Church Supper.

Oh yummy Mary!! I sure wish I could have been there to join you! I can imagine just how wonderful it must have been to be surrounded by all that delicious food:o) Now I will not rest till I get get a slice of pecan pie!:o)

That made me laugh! Now this sounds like just the concept I could get my head around...soup and sandwiches and dessert. Perfect for these tough economic times!
Church buffets are always the best! I cant think of a better place to go for great food! Glad you had a good time!
