We are having a lovely week !!! The weather is way too hot, but we are finding things to do during the day and set in the yard late at night.
I have been busy getting ready for VBS. It is the last week in July. I am having so much fun with it this year. I really like the material. I am excited about making a good impact in the lives of our children.
Our granddaughter came on Tuesday. We had a ball as always!!!
Today we went and got some sweet corn, cooked some for dinner and put some in the freezer. What is sweet corn without homegrown tomatoes??? I can't wait until we have our yummy dinner.

I love fresh corn on the cob, especially cooked on the barbecue:-) I can't wait until our veggie garden is producing, we're so much later than you are over there!
So glad to hear that you had such a fun 4th of July, you're right, being surrounded by a loving family means everything:-) xoxo
It sounds like the perfect supper! Glad that you are finding ways to beat the heat. It's stifling!
Dropping in to wish you and the family a most lovely weekend.
Continue to enjoy summer!!:o)

Corn and tomatoes...sounds good to me Mary. It has been hot even in Massachusetts. We had some rain today and it is a bit cooler. Everything is so dry in the garden that one of our trees thinks that it is Fall.
Stay cool.
