Peaches
Hi everyone!!! I know I have not been a good poster or visitor lately. It is SUMMER!
So much going on. It seems there is so little time to do everything I want to do.
We have been getting some very good peaches at our Produce stand. I have been baking with them, serving them fresh, cut up with a little sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon. SO GOOD!!
In other news I have been getting ready for our VBS which will be the last week in July. I am really excited about it this year. I feel the kids will have great fun.

Hi Mary, We have had some delicious peaches also... This week we got some fresh blackberries.... YUM.... We had watermelon also... The fresh fruits (and veggies) are all so good during the summer....
Speaking of Veggies, we finally got some delicious home-grown tomatoes this week... I have been waiting all summer for some... They are so GOOD.

It sounds like you are having a wonderful summer. I love that idea about baking the peaches. When I lived in Princeton, New Jersey there was a wonderful peach farm. They sold peach pies. I used to warm up the pie and serve it with peach ice cream. Yum.
