One of those days!!!

I had one of those days today. You know the kind where you start out slow and are so content to be where you are. I was home doing small things. my husband was in the yard re stacking his wood for next winter. (we have a wood stove we heat with).

I made tuna salad for lunch. Nothing earth shattering going on. Just the sweet simple things that make life worth the living. Planting some flowers bulbs and making plans with my husband for a wildflower garden.

Sitting in the sun reading a book. I really enjoyed just being!!

I love those kinds of days too! I think all too often we are guilty of packing too much in and being too busy so we dont hardly ever get to just relax and enjoy a simple day!
hugs to you!

Mary, you can't beat a special day like that. Little jobs to be done and the time to just enjoy them at a slower pace.

Somedays just "enjoying being" is exactly what you need to be doing!

I'm having one of these days today including the tuna for lunch.

I am sure there are pressing things to be done...but I keep pushing them back to the corner of my mind.

Sometimes we all need days like this, Mary.... I sat outside in the back yesterday for a long time ---and that was 'my special time' while I watched my birds.

Glad to hear that both you and hubby are haelthier now--and can enjoy being outside. This warmer weather helps, doesn't it?

Hugs
Betsy

Hello! I see my sweet friend Vivian right next to "Leave Your Comment"! I wanted to stop by and thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment about teaching at church. I loved my own days doing just the same. Your empty tomb was wonderful! Very creative. Again, thanks for the visit! Elizabeth
