Spring

Where oh Where is Spring???

Now everyone who knows me knows how much I love snow. I think the pure white, fluffy flakes falling from the sky is one of the most beautiful sights . One can tire of even the most magnificent of things.

I am ready for the splendor Spring brings with her. Flower bulbs popping their heads above ground, trees budding, grass turning green again, butterflies, ladybugs, birds returning. Children darting about, playing outside as the days lengthen, giving more hours of daylight. Lighting bugs return with the children chasing them at dusk.

We rid ourselves of our winter coats. Long to set outside as the days grow warmer.

I am ready for the season to begin. I miss grilled hamburgers on a warm breezy Saturday evening, setting under the shade of our tree reading.

Oh sweet Spring please arrive bringing all the wonders you hold.

Oh how I too long for spring!:o) All the seasons hold something special for us, but right now my heart is longing for beautiful blooms.:o)

A lovely post Mary. Hope all is well with your family and your dear husband is feeling much better. Still remembering your sweet family in our prayers.

I am ready for Spring too, my friend! We are having lots of rain instead of snow which is very welcome but I'm ready for some sunshine!!!

You certainly need a little spring after such an unusual winter. Hope that it's just around the corner for you!

Amen, Sister, Amen!!!! I have to say that my Rhodies are ready to burst into bloom. I think Spring might be almost here--at least here in Oregon.

Spring seems to be making an early start where I live. You should see all the grass we have showing, some of it even turning green!! That's not something we usually see this time of year. I'm not complaining, though! lol Even the doves are starting their nest...I hope they realize we're only in March!!!! Hopefully Spring arrives for all of us sooner than later:-) xoxo
