Happy 2010 to all of my friends.
Sorry I have not been around. On Dec. 22nd I became sick and went to the doctors on Christmas Eve. I have pneumonia. I have been to the doctors 3 times and have had 10 different meds. I am doing better but I am still fighting it. They wanted me to go the hospital but as my husband has not been feeling well I did not want to leave him. I have 5 more days of antibiotics left to complete. I go to the doctors on Tuesday for more eye test. I hope to feel much better by then.
We are in the deep freeze here. it is 6:00 pm and is 23 outside. It has not been out of the 20's all day. Sooo very cold!!!!!!!!!!!

what a horrible way to spend the holidays. Just hit reset when you feel better and start the new year over! lol!

Mary, echoing all those who will say take care of yourself...who'll take care of your hubby if you don't take care of you? Just rest as much as possible and say "yes" to all offers of help. Wish I were closer, but I am sending a big pot of virtual chicken soup. It's so good...just the regular chicken kind of soup with salsa tossed in and a few kidney beans...so yummy. Let us know how the doc visit goes. Praying for a speedy recovery for both you and your husband.
Mary, I am so sorry that you have been so sick. You and hubby have both had more than your share of health problems. My love and prayers are with you both.
It's very cold here also... Supposed to go down to the single digits tonight. Brrrrrrr...
