I am Thankful For --------

The Lord has given me much to be thankful for this year!!!

As you know my husband has many health issues. The Lord has walked every mile of these problems with me, most of the time he carried me along the path. I am so grateful he was able to retire early and we have saved enough to live off of until May. We then we be able to draw his retirement.

My Lord loves me and I so do not deserve all of the Blessings he bestows upon me. He is so good!!

My child ( my youngest daughter) is going through a rough time now. On Oct. 20 th her little girl was stillborn. The results showed she had a heart defect. This was in the early morning hours on the day my husband had his last surgery. This is and has been a very hard time for all of us. Please remember my daughter in your prayers. She is doing a wonderful job of caring for her other children. She is not finding the joy of the season this year and she has always loved Christmas!! I am thankful for my child and that I am able to be there when she needs me . I am thankful she was raised in a Christian home and is relaying upon God to see her through.

I am thankful that my older son has a good job now and is turning his life around. My younger son is working hard and is near as we can help him when he needs us.

I am thankful that we were able to gather at my 79 year old Mother's home for a good meal and an awesome time of fellowship.

I am thankful for each of you who have seen us through all the hard times of the past year and have lifted us up in prayer, sent me notes of encouragement, and have been by my side.

Have a Blessed week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary,

What a terrific thankful list. I am sorry your daughter had to go through the loss of her baby. I have added her to my prayer list.

If you wanted to be included in the book swap, be sure to let me know. I can still arrange it. If it was an oversight on my part, I apologize.

Blessings,
Mary

Dearest Mary,

So many wonderful things to be thankful for and yet so much heartache as well. Having lost a baby on Dec. 20, 1979, I can understand how your daughter is feeling about the upcoming holidays. Please know my prayers are with you and your family.

Mary, I need your address so that I can mail your Pay It Forward gift to you, I finally finished making a little something for my participants:-) xoxo

What a great list you posted Mary and a wonderful reminder that I need to sit down and count my blessings too. I have many and I'm afraid I sometimes take that for granted.

You are my inspiration!

Hello Dear Mary,

What a beautiful list. It is as you said, our God is so good to us. Oh my I could never imagine my life without Him, and His loving us so much is awesome!:o)

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I will most certainly keep her in my prayers. What a blessing to have a Mother who believes all things are possible with God. He is able to mend a broken heart. I know because time and time again He has mended mine. This time of the year and every since the moment my Dear Mother left us to be with Jesus my missing her cannot be explained. But through it all I experience joy, only a mighty God can do that. You are a real sweetie pie Mary. Thank you so much for sharing your heart.

Smiles...

Beverly

Isn't it a beautiful thing that in the face of surgeries and the loss of a child and concerns over employment and financial concerns we can STILL be thankful? It sounds like you have had a hard year but praise God you can see His hand and feel His peace. I will say a prayer for your family Mary.
