What's for Dinner???

Chili!

Just put a batch of chili in the crock pot for tomorrow. We have to go to the hospital tomorrow for my husband to have more tests ran. We wanted to come home to something warm and good to eat. It has been in the 50's here all day. Tomorrow promises more of the same and of course more rain.

The leaves are changing colors and God is painting so many pretty fall colors. I went to our local produce stand yesterday and there were so many beautiful things. I bought two sweet potatoes for our dinner. I also bought two crisp green apples and had one for a snack today it was soooo good. There were pumpkins in colors ranging from orange, to blue and white. They were all shapes and sizes. Some even had "warts". LOL The mums were a color feast for the eyes in all their glorious shades of red, orange. yellow, and white. Gourds were in all shapes and sizes.

I have always loved to decorate for fall, but this year have not done anything yet as I had been busy with my husband. I love to set a big pumpkin on my porch with a pot of mums and hang Indian corn on the back door. We always carve a pumpkin for Halloween. I hope we get to do some of these things this year.

Please continue to pray for us. I will have an update this weekend. Have a Blessed tomorrow.

I have some quite small pumpkins from our own patch but I do want a pot of mums.

Hope things continue to improve for your husband and you get a few minutes to hang your Indian corn on the door.
