Eating ice cream

Last night my husband and I had homemade banana ice cream for our dinner. This was so much fun!!! It felt like we were kids again and not eating as we were suppose too.

I was sharing this with my dear friend at church this morning. She said why not. Yes why not. Life is so short and I see no reason not to enjoy some of it's sweet gifts.

So if on occasion we want ice cream, or popcorn, m & m's or whatever for dinner we will have that.

Eat want you want my friends. Laugh out loud, dance by the light of the moon, watch the sun rise. Enjoy all the wondrous gifts God has bestow upon us.

I agree, Mary... BUT--even though I haven't learned this---it's all about MODERATION... We should be able to eat anything ---just not too much. (Easier for me to say than to do!!!)

How is your BIL?
Hugs,
Betsy

Mary,

Great advice. Life is truly too short to worry about every little thing. Time slips by quickly. Seems like I was just a teen and now am heading into old age. lol

Use the good dishes, the linens that your grandmother made for you and the crystal glasses that Aunt Maude gave you as a gift.

Enjoy your week.
Blessings,
Mary

There are some days when ice cream would make the perfect meal. I think you are wonderful to just go for it!

Hi Mary:
Yes, sup at the table of life and it will fill you and your husband : )
How fun!!!
I grew up using my Mom's "good" china, eating at the dining table, eating with her real silver flatware (I liked opening that case and touching the old burgundy velvet on the inside), drinking from crystal glasses. I broke my share and never did I see anger on her face. She loved her family. She loved her family and "things came second."
You sound like a good Mom!!!
peace & hugs
