They called him King

They called him King!

He was born in a dirty stable surrounded by smelly animals.

He had no doctors, his attendants were a donkey, sheep, and cows.

His bed was an animals feeding trough.

They Called him King!

He was wrapped in rags, no designer clothes for him.

His mattress was a bed of hay.

His visitors were shepherds.

They called him King!

He grew up the son of a poor carpenter and maiden.

He worked as his parents asked and was obedient to them.

They called him King!

When he was old enough he sat out with a group of men to spread the good news.

He traveled about the country side performing miracles. He turned water into wine, feed thousand's with a few barley loaves and fishes. Made the lame to walk and the blind to see.

They called him king!

He was put on trail for crimes he did not comment. He was beaten, mocked and dragged through the streets.

They called him King!

He was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day he AROSE from the dead.

They called him King!

I call him King and hope to join him in heaven one Day!

I CALL HIM KING!!!!!!!

Neat Mary.... Palm Sunday and Holy Week are so important ---leading up to Easter. I think people miss out on so much when they don't experience the events of Holy Week --before Easter Sunday...

We marched and waved our Palm Branches this morning --just like they did when Jesus rode through Jerusalem. NEAT!!!!

Jesus is KING... Amen!
Hugs,
Betsy

Mary,

Palm Sunday is over. This is the day our Lord rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. I hate to think of what He went through in the upcoming week and by Friday, He was hanging on the Cross. And then He rose to give us everlasting life.

Have a great week.
Blessings,
Mary

How lonely our lives would be if it wasn't for HIM being right there beside us at all times. It always breaks my heart, though, at what He had to go through to save us. xoxo

THIS TRULY IS THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, MARY! I am playing Mary Magdalene this Friday. I can't wait!!!

It was supposed to rain yesterday. It drizzled. At 7 PM it looked like morning because of the way the clouds shielded the setting sun. I did some planting in the garden. It was almost surreal.

Have a fantabulous day!
