Happy April Fool's Day to you too dear Mary:-) It's pouring rain here and cold, just hope it doesn't turn to snow or Mother Nature will certainly have done a good April Fool's joke on us! lol xoxo

Hi Mary and a very happy April Fool's day to you too.

It has been raining, but there are so many little promises of a beautiful spring. The grass is starting to turn green, the bulbs are poking their little heads through the soil and the buds on the trees are getting bigger. I think the most beautiful colour is the new green when the trees start leafing. And, how could I forget the beautiful spring songs of all our bird friends.
Have a lovely day

Hugs Karen

Yes but i have a sad news Mary, because today at five O'Clock, our Eiffel Tower felt down !!!! Experts said that it was too old and as they were about to repaint the Tower for a for the cost of 4 millions euros. They were supposed to use a special secret color “the Eiffel Tower's Brown” (the same color since 1968) They were supposed to need 25 painters for a surface area of 250.000 m2 (9 842,5197 inch2)...

The good news is that we will make a very big economy with the painting :)

Have a look at the tower for the last time : http://www.tour-eiffel.fr/index.html

Happy Day to you, today and everyday. Thanks for telling me the name of that flowering bush. It is stunning when they are all in blossom.

The only joke at my house fell flat. I asked my beloved if he realized that it was 8:30 a.m. (It was only 6:30.) He didn't get one bit upset. I asked him about it later and he said that he knew I was confused and it wasn't worth a discussion. Well, I never!

Hope your day was happy, too!!

Hi Mary. Thank you for visiting my blog! Please share more photos of the cards and items made by "your children". Hey I noticed some of the bloggers that visit you...visit me. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived near each other to have tea and share stories or maybe do some antiquing?
Hope you have a lovely day!
Hugs, Sharon

Mary,

I was able to avoid all the April Fool's jokes this year, except for the pouring rain we had in the morning. At noon, the sun came out and the rest of the day was lovely. Today it is a gorgeous spring day.

I certainly value your friendship.
Blessings,
Mary
