My Weekend

My Granddaughter came for a visit this weekend and we had so much fun. She goes full speed from the time she comes till she leaves.

We played scrabble. Made Birthday cards for one of my other Granddaughters and some Shamrocks. We made nachos on Saturday and a pot of chili for Sunday. Then we watched the movies Nanny McPhee and Yours, Mine, and Ours. Of course there were soft drinks and popcorn.

Grandchildren can take a plain ordinary day and turn it topsy-turvy in the most special and wonderful ways!!! They are one of the best gifts from God!!!

Mary, you are so lucky to have grandchildren....I am still waiting for our sons to get married and settle down. I hope that I can be a terrific Grandma, just like you.

God bless.

Mary,

You are so right. Grandchildren are a blessing from God. I don't know how I ever lived without the boys in my life.

Hope you enjoy your week time with your Grands again soon.

Blessings,
mary

Grandkids add just the right amount of spice to our lives to "take it up a notch", don't they? I can't imagine my life without 'em...and look at all the movies we would be missing out on!

I love this post about you and Kiley. I just know you're an awesome grandma.

Sounds like the perfect time together with your granddaughter! Finally had a day to come by and visit my favorite bloggers! You have always been so faithful to come by and visit me and I so appreciate that - especially since I've been so busy and haven't had blog time!! Hope you have a wonderful day.
Many Blessings,
Sandy

Oh I so agree with you...grands are great!

Nanny McPhee is one of my favorite movies, too. I love that nursery for the children.

I love times like this with my granddaughters. They bring our house to life. My mother also spends time with us. I'm glad they will have times to remember with their great-grandmother. My grandchildren call me Bubbe, Hebrew for grandmother.

Mary, you are making such beautiful memories with Kylie. I bet she will be passing them on to her own granddaughter one day.
