JOY

Waking up in the morning to the sweet sounds of the singing of birds.

A phone call , card , remembrance that one was not expecting from a sweet friend.

Hot soup on a cold day. Ice cream on a hot summer day.

The laughter of one's Grandchildren and Children.( Notice I put Grandchildren first.LOL)

COLOR I love all the bright and beautiful colors of the world in which I live.

Spending a night at home, making dinner with my husband.

Knowing that My Heavenly Father loves me no matter what choices I make!!!!!!!

Our Four Children, and Eight Grandchildren.

A good book, hot cup of tea, chocolate bar, a clean sheet of paper on which to write my thoughts, dreams , hopes.

Each and every member of my Family. All of my friends and all of my friends in this land of Blog. I love you all !!!!

Lined Dryed Clean sheets for my bed. The sweet smell of Honeysuckles on a warm summer night. The clean smell
of rain and the pitter-patter sound of it hitting the roof. The beauty of snow.

A phone call from a Grandchild wanting to share their day and to tell you they love you.

These are only a few of the things that makes my life fulfilled. What brings JOY to you!!!!

Hi Sweet Mary, YOU bring JOY to my life!!!! What a wonderful post.. I could write a book on the things that bring me joy.. But--here are just a few: hiking in the woods and coming up on a gorgeous waterfall; seeing a sunrise or sunset; seeing a rainbow; waking up with my Cardinals cipping outside--telling me to get their breakfast; love from George; waking up to a surprise snow on the ground; blogging with friends; etc. etc. etc....

Hugs to you, my friend,
Betsy

Looking at baby animals just opening their eyes!

Coconut Meringue Pie :)

A full gas tank...

A new friend...

Realizing your throat doesn't hurt anymore...

Having a surprise for your mother...

Hearing a cute story about someone else's grandchild or child...

Taking a trip down memory lane with someone who was there...

Keeping your neighbor up half the night with your ultra-long comment on her blog ;)

I relate to many things on your list except snow and grandchildren. I would add my Bible study group--I love those ladies, sitting by the ocean and gathering shells, hugging my pets, having a day at home and I don't have to go anywhere.

Have a blessed weekend, Mary!

Lallee
