My heart is so full!! I have so many things to share with you today. First I want to extend Sunday Blessings to all of you. I hope each and everyone had a truly wonderful Thanksgiving.
I had three precious boys in my Sunday School class this morning. I pray for each one of them as they entered my room. I also prayed for me to led them in the way the Lord would have me too. as I looked and listened to them my heart was brusting with pride and love for each of them.
I made my mind up in those first few moments that this Christmas for me would be spent loving others.
I talked with the children about the true meaning of Christmas. We talked about it being all about love. The love our Lord had for each of us. So much love that he sent his only son to earth to buy our pordons.
We talked of ways that we could share this love with others. You see last year I was going through a lot of things with my family. This year there have been many issues with my husband's health. As he hurt his leg last Feb. and has a lot of problems stemming with that and is in pain every day. At times it has been very stressful for us both. The thing that has amazed us both is the way the Lord has helped us with all of this. He is so good to us!!!!
I never felt as though my heart was right last year with the "reason for the season". This year I am not going to let the problems we are going through keep me from celebrating this special time of year.
I have no money but I have a heart filled with love and I am going to share it with all I can. I am going to spread kind words around and smiles abundantly. They say laughter is contagious. I sure hope so. As you go out and about this Christmas smile at all you come into contact with. You will be spreading the love of our Lord♥♥♥

Mary,
This is an awesome post. To me, money is not important. It is the love of family & friends and the spirit of the season. Those 3 boys are blessed to have you for their Sunday School teacher. Love, especially the love of God is an important message to send at this special time of year.
I will pray that you and your will be abundantly blessed this Christmas season.
Hugs,
Mary

Thanks for stopping by. I've enjoyed my stop here and your post today just made me smile. You've got a great attitude and I thank you for sharing it!
I have to agree with your message here. You have made me feel good way deep inside.
I think most of us tend to get caught up in the buying of things and having parties and forget that just being kind, friendly and helpful is just as big a part of the spirit of Christmas.
Spread the word.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and posting.
Karen

Hi Mary,
You have the right idea:) I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Had ours on Saturday. I have your package already to mail and hope to get to the post office this week. I have a long "to do" list for the week:)
Take care.
Warmly,
Deb
What a lovely post Mary Isabella ( that is a beautiful name )and how blessed the three little boys were to be in your class today. Don't you feel so privileged to be allowed into a child's life in any way ? I always feel so amazed my grandchildren and other children WANT to be with me, and never take for granted the blessing that is.
I read your 100 things about you. What an interesting person you are, and I love the picture of you with the Halloween candy.
My Hubby and I have had a pretty difficult last 2 years, and a little over a year ago he was diagnosed with an illness that has been debilitating at times and will never get better. We were used to being able to at least count on being healthy and able to do hard work, but now we realize even that is a blessing and to count on our own strength is always folly, I see you have grasped that and though it is probably still a trial, you know where your real provision comes from...Praise God for His abundant blessings and His Son !
Thank you for stopping by my blog, and the lovely comment. I really enjoyed your blog, and will be back. It was a great post your last one, I really enjoyed it.
mary I have a feeling that spreading smiles and love will be a very easy and natural thing for you to do! what a wonderful gift!
Hugs!

Thank you for stopping by and commenting at my blog - your resolution for Christmas is just right! Love was the first gift - God loving us so much He gave us a way to Him and so fitting as our gift to one another (and a hurting world!)
Amen!
We got to sing some great songs last night, didn't we! That put a smile on my face.
Going to visit my uncles and aunts today. I made potato soup and chicken salad to take with me.
Perfect words as we enter the season. I don't have a lot of extra money this year, but I'm going to follow your good example and share the joy all the same.
I didn't realize that your dear husband is still in pain after all this time. Renewing my prayers in that department, too.
God bless you, Mary Isabella!
Your right about laughter being the best thing and smiles are definitely contagious. Your message is well taken and should be practiced daily. I hope your holiday was great and I hope your husband is a little better and with less pain. Take care
This is such a beautiful post, dear Mary! Having love, family and friends has always been the most important thing for me. You could have all the money in the world but if you don't have those 3 things, then you really have nothing. xoxo
Wonderful post! Where ever I go, I try to make people smile...it's a goal of mine : )
bless...shell
Thank you so much for this beautiful message!
God bless you, your family and your job!
Mary, I am so glad you stopped by and thanks for leaving me a kind message. Please stop in anytime. I really like your blog. What a wonderful Christian attitude! How would we make it through one day without him? I know I couldn't.
Have a Blessed Day!
~Tracy~
You do a good job of spreading the love around - you inspire me. Really, a smile is free as the old quote says.

Beautiful post! This is the true meaning of Christmas!

My dear Friend,
My sincere sympathies on the passing of your husband's Uncle. I'm so glad that he was a man of God because we know that he is resting in Jesus' arms. I will pray for you, your husband and his family in this time of sorrow. May God give you peace as you go through this difficult time.
Blessings,
Mary
Thank you for lifting us up in this season. We tend to forget the truth in the rush of everything else.
Gods Blessings
Miss Mary,
this is such a beautiful post! I know so many folks think the recession we're experiencing is a bad thing. But I see the opportunity for so many of us to really focus on what really matters.
What better gift than sharing a smile and a little laughter with those you love and strangers you meet? Your comments on my blog always make me smile!
Blessings,
Lea
I remember my little grandmother many years ago with go to the 5 and dime and take her little change purse and buy each of her grandchildren a gift to wrap under the tree...... It never cost much but the love behind it was oh so warm.......... Christmas is love, and giving....... the world has enough money.........
You are so right Mary. I told my mom the other day that nobody looks happy anymore, nobody smiles at you and alot of people are so mean !I try to smile and be kind to everyone. We don;t realize how many people need a smile or encouraging word.
God bless you Mary, you are so precious !
Thanks for stopping by!! Loved your message....precious!
Blessings!
that is a great message and children need to know young. I have to admit we have always put Jesus in our Christmas, but they were spoiled way to much.
Well this was inspiring to me today. What a treasure of thoughts. I love that when we don't have much to give in the material sense, we have so much to give in the spiritual and eternal sense. I really thank you for your thoughts.
What a precious post, and a truly sweet Christlike outlook on life. You are so right.
Mary, Congrats you won the drawing. Please email me with your address. gigi252000@aol.com

Sending lots of contagious laughter your way!

I so enjoyed reading your post today! And you are right ---- you don't need a lot of money to spread God's love, just a loving heart! So glad I met you today! I'll be back! Cora
Mary, this post is so beautiful. What a lovely start to the Christmas season. And, you know that smiles and kindness are so contagious and soon everyone will be spreading the love around.
Hugs Karen
Thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry to hear of the Uncle who died, but what a blessing to know that he was a Christian. Your post is an inspiration to all of us to contemplate the true meaning of this season.
Jesus is the true reason for the season. We try to teach our son that amidst all the commercial hoopla of Christmas.
Take care!
Adriann
What a great post...we all need to do more of that!! Thanks for sharing and coming over to my blog!

What a wonderful message, Mary. I am right on the same page--I want this year's celebration of Christmas to be very different this year.
Thanks for posting this! This is what Christmas is TRULY about, and the way that Christ would have us spend it, I think.
Thank you for lifting me up during a hard time for my family. Please know our prayers are with you and yours. Have a blessed holiday season! ♥
What a beautiful post and message, Mary! It is so easy to lose sight of what this season is really about: especially when we have a politically correct world that is endeavoring to erase Christmas from society. What a wonderful focus this gives all of us.
On a another note, I walked into Washington Mutual the other day. It was taken over by Chase. I asked why the bank was not dressed up in its usual festive array. A teller told me that they had banned Christmas from any of their banks! Only poinsettias are permitted. They will be receiving a letter from me. Cowards!
I will take your thoughts to heart as I pursue Christ in this season.
Love, KJ
Oh Mary, this is such a sweet and beautiful post. Isn't it so true that if you have LOVE and God in your heart life is soooo much better. He has been so good to us and has gotten me through some dark moments in dealing with my personal health issues. Without Him, and the support of friends, life would not be so great.
Thank you for sharing this with us. It doesn't matter how much money one has, it is how you treat people and the love of your heart will pour out to others.
love,
Becky
Thanks Mary.
