"Baby it is Cold outside" It is really cold here in Kentucky this weekend. It makes me want snow. How I do love snow!!!
My Granddaughter came to spend the day with us. We had so much fun. We made some Christmas things and we did a little cooking. I like to make my cornbread dressing a few days ahead of time so the flavors can blend well together. She was the celery chopper This was so neat to watch. She ate as much as she added to the bowl. Each time she took a bite she told me how much she liked celery. It is so much fun to cook with a child. I learn so much when I spend this time with her. We froze the dressing for Thanksgiving but made a pan for her to take home tomorrow. After this we made a pot of chili for our dinner. We laugh and talked all afternoon. Such precious moments I will cherish for all time.

Sounds fun! And tasty too! I hope she gets over her sniffles quickly.
I just took Mimi walking thru the cemetary. She wanted to know where her Mama's sunday school teacher was buried (Your Aunt Bonnie, of course). She wanted me to tell her everyone's story.
What a great grandma! You're building memories and your granddaughter will never forget them!

Mary,
Thank you for your kind words of condolence on the passing of Aunt May and for your prayers as we went through the difficult task of saying goodbye. She is in a much better place now - resting easy in the arms of her Savior. I appreciate your prays, support and friendship.

Mary

Our GD came over Sat and spent the night. I love breakfast time when she does that. Fresh from bed, in her pj's, messy hair, just a whole lot of love.
