Great News and a Big Thank-You

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday. The temperatures are milder here and it feels so wonderful.

My Daughter got the results of my Grandson"s MRI. It was good. It did not show what they first suspicion. They now think it is the head aches he has been having. More test (such as another eye exam) will be run. He had an eye exam when he started preschool last year and as he is now in K. he needs another one anyway. They are better and they hope to have them under control soon.

I have suffered from migraines since the age of 12 and still due to this day. My daughter(his Mother) suffers from them also. So as you see they run in our family.

He is feeling better these days and really looks forward to going to school each day. Rusty (his puppet) is there waiting for him each afternoon . They are constant companions. They sleep together, watch t.v., eat together. and He even takes him into the bathtub with him; then Rusty gets a visit to the sauna ( clothes dryer).

My daughter and I want to thank each of you for all of your prayers and ever so kind comments on my post about Rusty.

Oh, what great news! I am so glad that the MRI results brought you this good bit of news. Yes, migraines can run in families. I had them from I was 16 until I was 20. Once I had my daughter, they never came back. The doctor said it had to do with changes to my body during pregnancy. Whatever stopped them, I am truly thankful. However, Brandon gets them and so did my daughter.

Take care and have a great evening.

Matt Brown used to get them. The medicine they gave him made him get fat. I think he outgrew it finally. He is a stringbean now!
I hope you didn't feel you had to vote for me at KJ's...I voted for you because your poem was really good :)

see you there! said...

Glad the MRI ruled out whatever it was they were looking for and hope to hear the eye exam comes up good too.

I laughed with the mental picture of Rusty visiting the sauna.
