BEAUTY!!!!

I have been having so much fun playing the pay it forward game. So many of you have posted it on your bl0gs and are doing special things with it. It made me think of the word BEAUTY!!

I am surrounded by beauty everyday of my life, as we all are. With the stress that life throws at us sometimes we forget to look for the beauty that is apparent in so many different facets of our lives...

When my children were small they presented me with beautiful challenges each new day. Some days it was things they did or other days it was things they said.

One day when our oldest son was outside playing he ran up to me and he said; "Mommy look what I found, a snake wrapper!" You see he had found a snake skin in our back yard and was so excited. I saw the beauty in this little boy then as I see the beauty in the man he is trying so hard to become now.

As each of my children were born I so the beautiful babies they were and prayed for the beautiful adults they would become!!

Now I see the beauty in the 8 Grands my husband and I have.

As I visit all of you I see the beauty of many things. Some of these are compassion for each other, love, concern for the problems our fellow bloggers encounter, giving of the things you have and of your time. talents, and yourselves. We are a bonded family who are more than willing to laugh and cry together!!!!

I see the beauty in the lives of my family and friends and the people I worship with each Sunday. Each one of you are so special to me in all of your diverse ways!

When I wake in the morning I an astounded by the rising sun that gives us light and warmth. The butterflies darting about. Oh how I love butterflies!!!!! Then at the end of the day the sun is setting and the moon and stars are lighting our paths.

Oh my yes we are surrounded by Our GOD's beautiful gifts each day of our lives.

Now I challenge you to do something to bring beauty into someone else's life. Be it a smile, a kind word, comforting a child, spouse or friend. Baking something, or just being there listening to your loved ones. Go out and make some beauty!!

Mary,

I certainly did somethings to bring a smile to my grandsons' faces this week. They each got to stay overnight on their own and do something that they wanted to do. Jordan chose fishing and Brandon wanted to go shopping for his brother a birthday gift, so we had fun doing those things.

Both yesterday and today, I took the boys swimming. The weather was perfect - no too hot with a nice breeze.

Enjoyed my visit, as always.
Blessings,
Mary

Just put this comment {below}, in Vee's blog, because of your comment there. -giggles- So I thought I'd come over and copy and paste it here too.

To Mary...

"Rain, rain go away,
Little {insert name} wants to play."

Right?

And how about...

"It rainin', it's pourin'
The old man is snorin'.
He bumped his head
on the foot of the bed,
And he couldn't get up
in the mornin'."

What a truly beautiful post sweet lady.
This post had your sweet heart in it.
And practicing random acts is how I wish to live...or living my life so I am a help to others. Not perfect in any way but to try!

The snake wrapper was just too precious! What a lovely memory.

Thank you for this today. Now I am off to catch up with you! I hope to get back to regular blogging soon. This Summer has been so busy that blogging the way I love to did not happen.

Have a sweet Thursday!

Love,
Sue

Think I might pass on the baking but bringing beauty into someone's life is probably the most rewarding thing one could do. A lovely post.
