Update About my Son

I talked with my son today and His leg was swollen so that I advised him to go have it checked out as 2 of the staples were pushed up and tearing it some.

He went and they assured him it was okay. He was told to keep a close watch on it as the temps here are in the 90's. We do not want to run the risk of an infection.

After he returned he worked in his friends garden and weeded it. Called me tonight and said it was still swollen but he had put ice on it. I am sure with the heat that felt really good.

Thank-you all for all of the prayers you are saying for him Our children are our babies no matter how old they are!!!!!

Mary,

You are correct. No matter how old our children get, they are still our babies. I will continue praying for your son.

Thank you for your prayers for Aunt May. She has a good attitude, but then she's dealt with fragile health her entire life.

I'm not sure where I got the good morning graphic. You are welcome to a copy of it if you wish.

Take care, my friend.
Blessings,
Mary

That is true...I do hope it continues to heal...maybe he should stay off it for a bit, maybe the swelling will go down.
Hugs,

Yep, and he needs to keep the garden dirt out of it, too...don't want him growing mushrooms under that bandage! Hope it's all well, soon!

I pray that your son's leg continues to heal...but working in a garden doesn't sound like the best thing to do right after an injury like that, but I also know how men and boys don't think of the consequences sometimes when they do things...

and of course that leaves mom to worry and fret about whether he is taking proper care of the injury...
right mom?
I'll continue to pray for him,
Mimi

I'm glad to know that he's on the mend...it does take some time. The heat sounds awful! Hope that it moderates for you all.
