Lady Summer has come to play. Oh she has brought the most incredible sights and sounds with her!!!

This morning as I sat on my front porch I was treated to the antics of 5 baby squirrels. I sat in amazement as I watch them jump from tree limb to tree limb and then to the top of the porch roof.

Next the birds were feasting on grasses and seeds they were savaging for. One Robin Red Breast was standing with a nice plump worm for her babies.

Children were walking about. Their voices and laughter could be heard resounding through the air.

Have you ever danced in the rain of summer or caught the sweet rain drops in your mouth. Played tag at dusk or chased lighting bugs.

Sat in the early dawn hours watching the sunrise. Or rocking in your favorite chair blowing bubbles. Watching as they floated toward God"s Heaven.

My friends to me this is pure bliss!!!!!

Hi Mary, I'm first this time. Doesn't happen very often. I so enjoyed your sights and sounds of spring. I have done all of those things and also it's so amazing to watch a moon set over a quiet lake.

Have a lovely happy day tomorrow

Hugs karen

That is a lovely post, Mary. If it is not too hot to sit on the front porch, that is ~ :o) I am having fun taking pictures of God's little creatures.

Ohhhhhhhhh, how cute! My sister just discovered that what she thought were fruit rats rustling in her back yard, are actually baby squirrels! They are just about the most darling thing I have ever seen!

Isn't summer wonderful!!! I was working with my laptop on my front porch the other day just loving the bird's songs. I miss them so much in wintertime. Sounds like you are enjoying every minute!

I'm so loving these summer days, the reasons being exactly the ones you described! I love to just sit and listen to the sounds of nature and children playing:-) xoxo

It all sounds so delicious the way you describe it. (I watched a mama squirrel lug all her wee ones from one tree to another across the street. Can't imagine what made her need to do that.)

Hope that things are settling down for you and that you and your dh have some light for the path and the decision that you are making. I'm still praying.

Mary,

Your post had a calming effect on my spirit tonight. I'm so glad I dropped in for a visit. After fighting for Brandon's rights over the last couple of days and with hubby with gout and other health problems, I've been quite stressed. And then add the renovations that are going about as fast as a tortise.

Your words painted a bright and lovely picture. Thanks so much for sharing.

Blessings,
Mary

Hi Mary

Remember me? I've been so bad about blog reading lately...not because I don't want to read, but because of my crazy life recently. Lots of company, which has been wonderful and then all the medical tests, etc. I've really enjoyed reading your posts I've missed.

I'm glad your son is doing better.

Hugs!
Kat
