Psalm 23 (for work)

My friend Jean sent me this in an e-mail and I want to share it with you. I think it is so true.

Psalm 23 (for work)
The Lord is my real boss and I shall not want. He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me. He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring and complaining.

He reminds me that he is my source and not my job. He restores my sanity everyday and guides my decisions that I might honor him in all I do.

Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn't cooperate every morning. I still will not stop--for He is with me! His presence, His peace, and His power will see me through.

He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me. He claims me as His own, even when the company threaten to let me go. His Faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.

His retirement plan beats every 401K there is! When it"s all said and done, I'll be working for
Him a whole lot longer and for that, I BLESS HIS NAME!!!!!!

Wishing you a weekend filled with sunshine and blessings.......Mary

Mary Isabella, I absolutely love this post and am so glad it was the first one I read today. It brightened my day and put a big smile on my face.

The birds are singing and its finally spring here in MA today. I am going straight out to the garden and rake.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi there!

My family just left this morning so in between laundry and putting the house back together (smile), I'm enjoying catching up on what's been happening with all of my blog buddies.

I'm glad you're getting some warmer weather. How did your rubs turn out? It made my mouth watr when I read about them :-) Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday.

Hugs!
Kat

Mary Isabella,

This post is awesome. I really enjoyed it.

I'm so glad you could talk with the children about Earth Day in church yesterday. God's earth is beautiful and we need to be good stewards.

Blessings for a wonderful week.
