HELLO!!!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far. We had bright sunshine with warm temps. for two days in a row. It was so awesome!!!! People were out in their yards working and the smell of grilled food was in the air. On Sunday after church my husband grilled hamburgers. They were so good.

I came across this quote the other day.
If God brings you to it
He will bring you through it.
Author unknown to me.

As Phyllis told you in my last post my husband will be having surgery this week. This is from the accident he had at work on Valentine's Day. As you know from other posts my husband has heart disease. Thus one of the medications he is on is Plavix. This is a blood thinner. Thus it makes the surgery on his leg a little more difficult than normal.

So I am asking for your prayers. I truly believe in the power there is when we as Christians send our prayers up to him and lay our burdens at his feet!!!!

We go for post op on Thursday and he will have the surgery on Friday. If all goes well we will return home sometime Friday.

I will post on Friday and give you the updates. Thank-you my friends for your prayers!!

Wishing everyone a week filled with sunshine and happiness.........Mary

Absolutely keeping your dh in prayer and you as well. It's great to live in the 21st Century when so much good medicine and care is available. Still, the Lord is the Great Physician and we trust in Him. Take care, Mary!

I just prayed for your hubby. I got a little emotional in fact. I was praying and began to feel GOD'S HEART concerning your hubby's heart. It gave me such assurance that God is not overlooking one detail. He has everything under control, Mary.

A man by the name of Graham Cooke said, "God will allow in His wisdom what His power can prevent." This quote is so awesome because both sides of it show that God is in control. He "allows" and He has infinite "power." He knows what route is going to produce the greatest results and the most life changing testimony.

I can't wait to hear how God is moving in your midst!

By the way, I can't think of a better person to give your password to! Miss Shabby is tops!

HUGE HUGS, KJ

Good Morning Mary,
I will be praying for your hubby as he has his surgery tomorrow. GOD will see him thru the surgery. I loved the saying you have today as well. Grilled Hamburgers sounds good. My DH hasn't grilled anything in a while. It's been raining most weekends anyway. We are under a Tornado Watch until 11:00a.m. this morning and that could get extended as this is suppose to last thru this evening. There have already been some Tornado Warnings to the West of us. Today is going to be a very active day weather wise around here. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Mary,
I would feel privileged to pray for you and your husband. Your quote is so true! Praying you will both rest in the shadow of His care in the days to come. I'll check back and see how things are going when you have time to post!

Lifting you to the Father,
Miss Sandy
