Whats for dinner!!!!!

I have been reading about all the good food that will be served for Easter this weekend. So I thought I would share my ideas.

Our Grandaughter will be coming on Saturday for the weekend. We will be attending our church Easter egg hunt that afternoon and then if the weather permits will grill outside. She wants hotdogs and the rest of us want hamburgers. Will have chips and cookies we bake to go with it.

On Sunday I will prepare Turkey and cornbread dressing with gravy. With this we will have green beans and scalloped potatoes and of course deviled eggs. I don't know what dessert we will be having as of yet.

This is such a special time!!! This is when the Lord showed us how much we meant to him and what a good time for us to show our family and others how much they mean to us. We will be sharing a plate with an older person who is alone and unable to get out.

GOOD FRIDAY BLESSINGS TO EACH OF YOU!!!!

Your Easter meal sounds delicious. We will go to Mom's for Easter dinner and this year she is serving turkey and ham. She usually only serves ham, but since hubby and I had taken the grandsons to Florida, she decided to have both. I'm very blessed to have Mom with me still and wouldn't miss that dinner for the world.

Many Easter blessings to you and yours. This is the night that the Last Supper was held and also when Jesus was betrayed and agonized in the Garden. What He sacrificed for us is beyond comprehension.

Blessings,
Mary

Good Morning Mary,
"HAPPY EASTER" and "HE IS RISEN"!!!! Your Easter Dinner sound very good. That will be so nice of yall to share some of your food with someone who can't get out. Me and the girls don't have anything planned for today. I'm not feeling too well and I think the girls may go to Church this morning. We have food we brought home from my Birthday Party yesterday to eat for today. Take care my friend and have a great Easter. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
