Thank-you so much for all the concern and prayers for my husband!!! Things did not improve as we first thought they would. Instead they got worse.
He went back to the doctor yesterday and they ran a doppler on his leg. As the pulses are weak they is reason for more concern. He will be going to an orthopedic doctor as soon as he can be seen. They may have to perform surgery and this is a big deal with my husband because of his caradic history.
I know it is a true test of my faith when times are hard. We have been going through some very diffcult times the past two years with my hubsand's health and with problems with our son and his marriage ending in divorce. Two be honest this has strenghtened my faith alot. When I have been down in the depths of despair and crying out why me Lord. Worrying over the problems dealing with my husband having to be off work due to his health issues and with us being a one income family due to my needing to be home to care for him and some chronic illnesses of my own. The Lord will come to me in the quite stillness and I know I just know that what ever happens it will be okay.
God has never promise that we will have everything we want in this life but he will provide for our needs. He alway has and always will.It is a test of our faith when we are going through hard times. Satan will be lurking around pointing out to us all the things we do not have. That's when we must turned it all over to our Lord and truly trust in him and in his own way and in his time he will provide. I am always truly thankful for the love he has for me and mine. God is so good. I just felt led to share this with you. Hoping in some small way it will be a blessing to your life when life's problems come your way. I praise God for these times because it has truly made me a better person. I have a more giving spirit and am more understanding of others. I try to put others first instead of always making it all about me. I am not perfect and sometimes I do question why. It is then that I need time alone with God and I need prayer. Blessings To each of you.

I’m sorry your husband has had a setback and I’ll be praying for both of you as he undergoes further tests and treatment.
Hugs and blessings,
This is a hard time for you, for sure. As you have said, in your own way, God uses these times for our good and His glory.
I'm very sorry that the problems in your husband's leg did not improve as you had hoped.
I'll keep you both in my prayers.

Good Morning Mary,
I am keeping you and your husband in my prayers. GOD knows already about his leg and GOD will provide for you in HIS time and not ours. I know this all too well as we have been thru the same thing recently. We are still having some struggles, but GOD is seeing us thru it all and we are stronger because of it. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD!!!! Back in 1999, my DH had a bad wreck and had to be off of work. He broke his Pelvic Bone in 2 different places and had to have major surgery and was in Rehab for 11 days. He was the only income we had coming in as well. But you know what, GOD saw us thru that hard time. We were BLESSED by GOD and everyone else. I know GOD will do the same for you and your husband as well. He never gives more than we can bare. Just let go and let GOD. Take care my friend and have a great day/weekend. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
When you are in the midst of the trial it seems so overwhelming, ask God for GRACE. He never gives you more than you can handle and sometimes we have tests so we can have testimonies! He is already doing a work in you!
Blessings,
Amy :)
Mary, when things have gotten really tough for us in the past I have pulled out my little copy of footprints in the sand and carried it around with me and read it over and over again and I truly believed in it. I know that He does not always give us everything that we want but does provide for us all that we need. I pray for you and your family. I am sure that He will guide you. Hugs to you and yours my friend!
"God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work." (My paraphrased version of a Bible passage -- I'd have to look it up; I have so many of these favorite passages floating through my head, but I can never remember which books from the Bible they come from!)
And Sweet Mary Isabella, you have won my giveaway! I will be posting it on my blog this morning. Please leave me a comment with your email when you have a chance (I won't publish it), so I can send your bracelet to you! =)
Oh Mary, you are such a sweetheart. Things will get better dear. I will continue my prayers.
Hugs,
Elaine
Mary Isabella,
You and your precious husband will continue to be in my prayers.

It's all so easy to say and yet so hard to live it, isn't it?! We so badly want to trust Him with everything but when the "everything" becomes those precious to us, it's extremely difficult to not worry, not ask why. I'll be praying with you this weekend. Let us know how he's doing when you can. Blessings... Polly

Mary Isabella,
We seem to be fighting the same type of battle of the mind. Keeping our mind on God is the best medicine. He has never let us down! Things may not turn out the way we expect, but usually better. :)
I will be praying for you and your family.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! :)
