Good Morning!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday. Our children and Grandchildren came. Our little house was bursting at the seams. This year I made finger foods so I would not have to get up at dawn and began cooking. It was so nice I slept in till 7;30 and had all the food done by 12;30. When the kids came at 1;00 the work was done and my husband and I could enjoy them. They spent the next few hours eating!!!!! This group of people can really eat. The children opened their gifts and squeals of delight filled the air. as for me after they left I cleaned everything up and went into my bedroom and put on Christmas movies. It was so nice. My husband and I did drank too much hot chocolate. L0L. What about you? Was it a magicial time?

I'm so glad that you had such a special time with your family. Aren't you supposed to drink too much cocoa and watch old movies all day? You did the right thing! You are such a blessing to me.

What a lovely post! We went with finger foods this year too , so much nicier than being stuck in the kitchen for two days with the huge clean-up after. :) Wishes for a Happy New Year to you :)

We had a wonderful time with family. Opening our gifts on Christmas morning, going and visiting was priceless.

Also Harvey is very happy this year, cause he actually managed to fool me about what I was getting. My sweetie is getting really sneaky.

HI Mary!
I'm glad you had a joyful holiday spent with people you love. We did too. my husband came home from the hospital on Christmas afternoon, so we ended up celebrating in the evening. Everyone was relaxed and it was a very nice time. Much different then the usually rushing to grandmas! It was nice to stay home. I sent the kids to their grandmothers though.
anyways, happy new year to you. thank you for the beautiful New years wishes! I wish the same for you!
