THE ADVENTURE BEGINS!!!!

When Victoria awoke the next morning it was to the sound of laughter and the smell of ham frying and bread baking. She knew right away it was going to be a glorious day!! The house was already warm and when her little feet touched the floor they were not as cold as usual. Someone had built a fire early. She could feel in her heart that something wonderful had taken place or was about too. She wandered into the living room and saw Henry there with her Mother. Had he returned or stayed all night? Mother; Henry what is happenig? Oh our sweet Victoria we did not hear you enter. We have something grand to tell you. First loook under the tree and see what Santa has brought you. The squeals of delight could be heard for miles around when Victoria saw her doll setting among the pile of gifts. Only at the landowners' house had she seen this many gifts. Is all of this for me??? Oh yes Victoria, Henry bent down beside the child and kiss her gently on the forehead. Victoria If it is alright with you I would like to be your Dad and live with you and your Mother. Oh Mother could we?? Is it possible Mother for us to be a family? Yes Victoria I think that would be the best Christmas present of all!! Me too said the small child;I think it is our Christmas Blessing. She picked up her new doll and took them both by the hand and walked into the kitchen for breakfast. Henry told them both as they ate that this was indeed a Christmas Blessing and as the bells will toll on New Years Eve at midnight they would indeed be a family soon into the New Year. Oh so many plans to make and so much too talk about. Emily came around the table and hugged Henry and then Victoria. The three of them were about to embark on a wonderful adventure this New Year.
