California Fires

I want to ask all of you in blog land to please pray for the people in California. My Mother has a brother and his family and a Sister and her family living in the areas affected by the fires. Please email your family and friends and start a prayer change acrossthe United States and thoughout other areas. Please phone those in your church family who do not use emails. Please lift up the firefighters, people in charge, and the ones in harms way of these blazes. Please pray asking God for a miracle in this situation. May God watch over each and everyone of them!!

Those fires are terrifying even to watch on TV. I've been praying for everyone there and have encouraged others as you've done.

Oh I am so sorry that you have family there!

When we see the news, we mentally know there are real people living in such places of sadness. But it puts a more real face on it... to read something like this.

And thank you so much for stopping by my blog and saying Hi.

How nice to meet you through our blogs. I only know Phyllis through posting but it you have her for a neighbor I think you are lucky.

Thank you for your words about the fires and the people involved. Even when the flames are out it is going to take a lot to recover.

One of my store owners was evacuated. She was allowed back to her home yesterday. She and her mother's homes were both spared, while others burnt around them. It's all so very sad. I have several other friends who have also been evacuated but haven't heard about their homes yet. I almost feel guilty for the rain we have today, although we need it terribly or we could have the same situation here in our mountains.

I have been praying for those residents too. It's terrible. I'm sorry that this is hitting so close to home for you. Know that I will continue to pray and will include your family in my prayers.

Love,
Julie
