THANKFULLNESS

I am thankful for so many things in my life. Although I some time forget to go to my Lord in prayers of thanksgiving. This is something I am trying to instill in the children I teach in Sunday School,Children's Church, and Mission Friends. I want them to learn to go to God in prayer not just with the wants and needs list but with the praise and thank-you lists. So in order to teach them this I must sit the example for them to follow. I am thakful to be alife and to have the opportunities that living in a free nation offer. My family can attend the church of our choice, and we can stand up and publicly express our thoughts and ideas without fear of imprisionment. I am also thankful for so many good friends. Friends that love me just the way I am and forgive me for all my many short comings. I am also thankful for all the small things in life that makes it so much bearable.Icecream cones, the pitter-patter of rain', the laughter of children playing, fall leaves their changing colors and the crunch they make under my feet, rainbows and falling snow. We have such a GOOD GOD that gives us everything we need, so why not say thank-you???
