Laughter

I had been told since I was a child that laughter is the best medicine. But it is not good medcine if it is done at someone elses expense. I have recently encountered a personial experience of that nature. It hurt very much and made me very aware of how hurtful we can sometimes be and not have it occur to us that we have hurt a fellow human being. Our feelings are sometimse very fragile and can be broken as glass in a matter of seconds but it can also cut as glass and leave deep scaring. I agree having fun and laughing with a friend is good medicine. Walking past someone in the store that you do not know and giving them a big smile can brighten their day. Laughter is good for the soul. My goal is to always laugh with you and not about you. Laughter can be love making a joyful noise. It is a gift from God and never should be used unkindly. So let us all share a happy moment with a someone today and pass on the love.

Mary Isabella what a beautiful post... Laughter does work like a medicine and can lift ones spirit and make others smile. I enjoy your post so much, and look forward to my daily visit... Thanks so much for your sweet comment regarding "Silhouette".

A big hug to you...

I think people who are down on themselves do this to try and make them feel better but it sure is not productive!

There has never been a greater need for laughter, for lifting people's spirits, for making this world a better place to live in. A terrific resource for this is at http://www.worldlaughtertour.com. Also, celebrate World Laughter Day, 1st Sunday in May. More infor at http://www.laughterfoundation.org
